     I have chosen to talk about the Trojan War and how it started.
Once upon a time the gods and goddesses were having wedding feast for Thetis, a sea-goddess. Suddenly
there appeared in the room who had not been invited, Eris, goddess of discord. Just for spite, she threw an
apple with the words " For the most beautiful"
into the croud.
     Then three tall lovely goddesses stepped forward to claim the prize- Hera, the wife of Zeus;
Aphrodite, goddess of love and beauty; and Athena goddess of wisdom.
     When they tried to get someone to choose among them, not even Zeus himself, dared to award the
prize and face the anger of the two other ladies. Since the immortals would not decide the question, the
goddesses turned for the help of mortal men.
      The three godesses went to Troy where they asked the young son of Priam, Paris, which was the
