The novel, “The Partner” takes place in the town of Biloxi, Alabama. The main character is Patrick Lanigan. Patrick Lanigan was a lawyer. Patrick is a skinny, white, dark hair, brown eyes. Patrick was always one step ahead of everybody else. Patrick is very intelligent. Patrick has a girlfriend name Eva Miranda. Eva was the nervous type and also very sentimental. An anxious person as well as always frightened. Eva is a person who may look innocent but very deceiving and shows at the end. Patrick met Eva in Ponta Pora in Country of Brazil. Eva is extremely beautiful through a South American look. You will soon learn that she’ evil and untrustworthy. Another important character is Sandy, Patrick’s attorney. Sandy is also extremely smart and he is very trusting to Patrick. Sandy accomplished the errands for Patrick while he was in the hospital recovering from his wounds, in which will learn later on in this novel. Patrick’s ex-wife, Trudy is very deceiving who only wants Patrick’s life insurance after he dies. She also was cheating on him when they were married with some guy name Lance, who dealt was drug dealer. Lance also methodically and scrupulously attempted to murder Patrick. Lance had many friends in the underworld. Trudy was very beautiful as well who has a daughter name Nicole. Trudy claimed the child was Patrick but after DNA testing it was verified that the child belonged to Lance.
Patrick knowing that his Firm was about to win a case that was worth 90,000,000 dollars, he took it knowing that his partners were going to fire him before they got the money. The government paid the industry to manufacture nine nuclear submarines. The Platt and Rockland Company in which Patrick help bring down the scalawags that were in the scandal defrauding the government. The company made false or erroneous claims that made the nine nuclear submari...
