Laissez-Faire Letter My Dear Franklin, As I fly over America I see many destroyed and polluted cities. As I fly into cities, I see many shantytowns made from packing boxes, scrap lumber, and other throw- away items just outside of the once prosperous cities. As I look at the farmers burning crops I can almost feel the pain they have in destroying their once profitable region. I as fly over cities I see the hungry and homeless people that are non-provided for. The way the cities look reflects the way the people are living and feeling; weak, frail, and abandoned. The once laissez-faire atmosphere has turned into the exact opposite of struggling and pain the people have at this point. As I enter the cities I see many poverty stricken people lying on the polluted streets. With hardly a car in sight, I see the abandoned parking lots where the once showcased automobiles no longer sit due to the low income people now have.
