Oligarchy is a form of government in which a small group of people holds political power.
Peloponnesus is a peninsula forming the southern part of Greece.
Helots are slaves or surfs of the Spartans.

Greek Assembly is the legislative branch of their government which gave freedom of speech, they had 10 selected generals, and had an equality of power.

Sparta is a city-state of ancient Greece in the South East Pelopennesus.

Athens is the capitol of Greece near the Seronic Gulf.
Attica is a/n peninsula in the lower part of Greece.

Solon's Reforms were reforms made to improve economy like Greek trade & commerce.
The Persian Wars were when Greek Colonies in Asia minor had been added to the Lydian Empire and caused a great controversy.
The Golden Age of Athens was after the Persian Wars and was a time of great learning and happiness.
