In the concentration camp Auschwitz there was a lot of medical experimentation going on.  One of the major horrors would have to  be Block 10.  Block 10 was the medical experimentation block in Auschwitz which was  filled with German doctors. Block 10 would have been a even balance of horrors.  When being an experimental subject it could prolong someone’s life or it could terminate it immediately.  Some of the test you might under go would have to be skin testing for reaction to relatively benign substances or receive phenol injections  to the heart immediate dissection. Doctor Mengele was the most evil man in Auschwitz and he worked here in Block 10. Then there was Doctor Ernst B. who protected and saved many inmates here. Block 10 was in the men’s camp, however most of the inmates were women. Prostitutes were also housed here for the benefit of the “elite” prisoners.

Doctor Clauberg used for his work sterilization by injection.  His method was to inject a caustic substance into the cervix in order to obstruct the fallopian tubes.  He chose as experimental subjects married women between the ages of 20 and 40, preferably those who had borne children. Doctor Clauberg had experimented with different substances. However the doctor was very secretive about it and the exact nature of the one he used. This was probably  to  protect any new discoveries made in the medical field from competitors.  One woman says that Doctor Clauberg ordered here to lie down on the gynecological table.  Doctor Clauberg used this needle to give her an injection in her womb.  She had the feeling that her stomach would burst with the pain.  She began to scream so loud that she could be heard throughout the whole block.  Clauberg later imprisoned in the Soviet Union.  After that he was repatriated to Germany which is where he returned to practice.  Here is where he proudly claimed “to have perfected an absolutely new method of sterilization.”  Which would be “of great use today in certain cases.”  Due to an outcry by survivor groups he was arrested in 1955 and died mysteriously in his cell in 1957.
Then there was another doctor named  Hirt.  He selected for their radical characteristics.  They were given a phony physical examination for reassurance ,  then they were gassed.
