Lung Cancer

     The name of this disorder is lung cancer.  There are a few causes of lung cancer; smoking is a major cause of lung cancer.  In fact smoking cigarettes is responsible for at least ninety percent of the cases of lung cancer.  A small percentage of lung cancer is related to occupational hazards like abestos, radiation and various chemicals.  Some research shows that people who live in polluted cities may be at a higher risk of getting lung cancer than people who do not, although the increase was found only among smokers.  


     Some early symptoms of lung cancer are coughing, loss of appetite and weight loss.  Although some symptoms are similar to the symptoms of many long-term smokers have anyway.  Some of the more serious symptoms of lung cancer are blood in the sputum, repeated pneumonia, fever, weight loss, and weakness.


     If someone gets lung cancer and if it is detected in the early stages it is possible be cured.  But since there is no known cure for lung cancer yet, and if it is detected too late then it most likely to be fatal.  In some cases the cancer will go away but will return and you will be affected with it ...
