The Neanderthals

The Neanderthal tribe the Clan of the Cave Bear though crude and simpleminded
were probably as civilized as a group of people with their mental capacity could be.
They displayed many examples of a civilized tribe; innovation of different things,
government and higher beings, and adaptation.
     The Clan of the Cave Bear used many tools created by cave people used for
an assortment of different things.  For hunting they used a sling to heave rocks at
their prey made of some animal hide and spears of wood to kill the giant musk ox.
Pottery of clay or mud to hold food or water.  Even art could be considered
innovation.  Inventing a way of expressing one’s self can be very important.  And
lastly but maybe most importantly fire for warmth in winter, to explore the cave
(light), and scare away anything within the cave.  Inventions or improving the way
of life for the group to help them become more or at least closer to being civilized.
     There was a very primitive government but never the less an effective
strategy to maintain order and...
