Pablo Picasso

     Pablo Ruiz y Picasso was born in Malaga, Spain, October 25, 1881.  He was the most influential and successful artist of the 20th century.  Painting, sculpture, graphic art, and ceramics were all profoundly and irrevocably affected by his genius.
     Picasso was the son of a professor of art.  This helped him get started with arts.  His talent for drawing was recognized at an early age.  As an advanced student at the Barcelona Academy for Fine Arts at the age of 14, Picasso experimented with many different styles of art.  This early start led to bigger and better things as he got older.
     In the year of 1897, Picasso put on his first exibition of art at the cafe, Quatre Gats' in Barcelona.  This was just the beginning of exibitions for Picasso.  Also in the year 1897, Picasso  went and studied at the Royal Academy of San Fernando in Madrid.
     He gained alot of needed experience and also found some role models to go by.  The two main people that influenced him were Henri de Toulouse-Latrec and Paul Cezanne.  They influenced Picasso...
