Even though I have heard of the Milgram experiment in my previous classes, it was still interesting to read the actual research. I think it correlates with the section on experiments. The chapter in the book was pretty much cut and dry, but it was still a good refresher on the concepts of basic psychology and a look into the realm of social psychology.

The Milgram study was based on submission and obedience. It took two groups of people; the administers of the shock, and the “Victim” of the shock. The administrators were the subjects, and the victims were actors trained to respond to the shock, which wasn’t really there.
