            Today I had one of the scariest days of my life. I woke up thinking I was going to meet with the CIA Agent who I was going to tell everything. It would be such a relief to get it off my back and have someone else deal with the cold, hard truth. I was wrong.


            It was going to be such a relief to have someone else who knows my deep, dark secret. A secret that cost my lovers life. A secret that forced me to go into hiding. A secret that could destroy so much that so many people had worked for. A secret I stumbled upon while playing detective. A secret I wish I never had found.


            That secret is what ruined my life, a secret that drove me away from by career, my education, and all of my friends, a secret that evil men started and that evil men want to see kept hidden. A secret about a breed of pelicans in the swamps of Florida.


            These pelicans may seem insignificant, but to these evil men, they are all that stand between them and a fortune hidden the swamps of Florida. That fortune is black gold; oil.


            These evil men are the oil tycoons. They see the pelicans as mortal enemies, the walls they must climb on their way to glory and riches. The pelicans are the reason they do not have the amount of money they want.


            Dear reader, you may ask why these birds play such a big role in this legal battle. Who cares about a herd of pelicans in the swamps of Florida?


            These pelicans are the last of their kind. They are an endangered species. If the oil lords are allowed to place their oil rigs in the swamps, it will destroy the only habitat these birds have.
