Racism in 21st Century

Racism is one of the world’s major issues today. Many people are not aware of how much racism still exists in our schools, workforces, and anywhere else where social lives are occurring. It is obvious that racism is bad as it was many decades ago but it sure has not gone away. Racism very much exists and it is about time that people need to start thinking about the instigations and solutions to this matter. To begin with the frustration is a very common cause of racism. I was very tense at that time, quietness in the room made me feel that I am in the different world. As soon as the officers rush in the room my face turned yellow because of fear. He started to ask my documents and begin to search my bags he made me to take off my shoes, shocks, and he even told me to take off my shirt that made me very embarrassed, after keeping 45 minutes in the inquiry room I was allowed to go. As soon as I step out of the room I took a deep breath and then I realized that this was all because I was Muslim.

Since the horrific attacks on the United States on September 11, security concerns have understandably creased, but so too racial profiling, discrimination et...
